An excellent backyard sawmill for those who prefer a bandsaw to a chainsaw. This sawmill can handle timber up to 65 cm (26").

LumberLite ML26 is the right sawmill for you, if you want a reliable and stable sawmill rather than extremely high daily production. This sawmill is easy to maintain. The convenient format makes it easy to fix the logs and set the board thickness. Even though the sawmill can handle large-diameter logs, up to 65 cm (26"), it is more suited to standard coniferous forest.

A log house moulder is available as an accessory with electric or petrol powered motors. Naturally, extensions are also available along with a chip management system, adapted for the ML26.

Most of the technology has been taken from the proven LM40 sawmill, and the same type of saw blade is used as for the LM Pro. With an 8 kW (11 hp) electric motor, the ML26 cuts faster than other sawmills of its size. Naturally, the sawing speed is slower with the smaller motor options, but if high productivity is important you should choose the larger LM Pro sawmill.

The sawmill is available with a 9 hp (6.5 kW) Honda petrolmotor and with two electric options, 4 kW (5.5 hp) or 8 kW (11 hp). The electric motors are highly efficient and almost double the rated output during sawing. In horse power, this would be calculated as 10 or 20 hp respectively.
