My Portable Sawmill Favorite - Logosol
I have cut several thousand board feet of many different species of wood since purchasing a Logosol portable sawmill 4 years ago. It weighs just over 100 pounds, is easily transported in my pickup and can be taken to the log preventing damage to other trees by dragging a log out. By inverting the mill, I have cut logs 48" in diameter, too large for commercial mills. It has been great to turn storm damaged waste into beautiful lumber and do it affordably and easily. It has allowed me to do my woodworking hobby at an affordable price. I love it and have found no other mill with it's capabilities and ease of use in it's category!
