Logosol’s Rip Saw Assistant for safer, more efficient and enjoyable sawing!
Avoid risks of accidents, and spare lots of time by mounting a Rip Saw Assistant directly behind the saw blade of your circular saw. With a 90 cm (35") or 100 cm (39") circular saw blade you can without difficulty process really large-diameter logs
Cut bigger timber with your circular saw without problems.
The Rip Saw Assistant is an accessory that increases the capacity of your circular saw. With the Rip Saw Assistant and a circular saw blade with a diameter of 90 cm (35") or 100 cm (39"), you can cut as big logs as you can ever cut in a circular saw with a larger diameter of the saw blade. A Rip Saw Assistant is almost always a smarter alternative than a circular saw blade of a larger diameter.
There are machines where a circular saw blade is mounted above the project log, but this means a big investment. A Rip Saw Assistant will, more often than not, do the same job. The fact is that in most cases there is only a couple of centimetres on the root side that has to be sawn. The difference between the kerf of the saw chain and the kerf of the circular saw blade will of course be visible, but generally this does not matter, since it almost always is in the part of the log that is going to be a slab.
Safe sawing
Climbing up on the saw table and cutting through the log from above using a chainsaw is a terribly dangerous job. Besides the risks of slipping and falling, the sawing itself is a highly dangerous operation. Serious accidents have happened when the person sawing has come under a log or a heavy slab that has fallen down when the log is sawn.
Increase the production by 10-15%
Every time you have to stop the saw and climb on to the saw table, you lose at least 10 minutes. This means that if you could avoid 5 – 6 such stops a day, you will gain an hour of efficient sawing time. Try to find another investment in the same price range that will give you the same rationalisation effect, i.e. will increase the productivity by 10 – 15%!
Logosol’s best machine!
Pressing a button and watch the work being smoothly and quickly done is incredibly much more fun, safer and more efficient than climbing onto the saw table and manually using a chainsaw.
We have had this machine on the market for almost 20 years, and customers have been extremely satisfied with it.
”To measure how much our customers value this machine, I have asked them in jest what their rip saw assistant would cost if I wanted to buy it back. The answer has been: ‘Then you may as well take the circular saw too!’ Once you have installed a rip saw assistant you cannot imagine life without it” |
